I think that picture of me might be gigantic! Yep, it sure is! Oh well, I'm trying to post at work since my home computer is in the process of being fixed, and I don't know how to make it any smaller! After I returned from Florida, I turned it on and about a 1/2 hour later I smelled electrical burning. Um, yeah, it was my computer! Apparently the fan isn't working and also my cd drive is a mess. So, Juanito is gonna make it better :) Anyway, I'm just posting quick to let you know I'm alive and haven't forgotten the plethora of pictures I will post as soon as I have my computer back again! So, for now, you can look at me! Cute, huh?

Yesterday, my dad, Ron and I went to Gatorland! It was actually pretty cool! My dad was very brave and stuck his head in the gator's mouth after Ron wrestled him :) Hee, hee! I just though he was cute! I have already begun peeling from my initial sunburn, but am headed out to Cocoa Beach today with the fam, so I'll probably get a bit more sun. Hopefully I'll be able to avoid the sharks while I'm in the ocean!!!
It's been a relaxing week so far- it began kind of cool (50's) but has been in the 70's and rising steadily since Monday! (hence the burn) It's hard to believe that we only have 2 full days left. I'll try to document both of my trips better when I'm home and caught up on life. This has been a whirlwhind month! Ok, bye for now!

This is kind of how I'm seeing life today! Of course, I'm no longer seeing ancient ruins and green hills. I'm home from my first adventure of February and have to refocus quickly to make it through a week of work and then fly away again. Karla and I flew home yesterday in what was really one of the longest days of my life (we left Dublin at 9am (their time) and arrived in Newark at 11:30am (our time). So it was a very long 2 hours- I think our flight was actually close to 7 hours! Then we finally arrived in GR around 5:30pm and I walked in my door around 6:30. I was fast asleep on my couch by 8, I think. Karen called me and I have nearly no memory of what I said. Sorry, Karen, I really wanted to talk to you last night too, but I think my brain was "away with the fairies" as my Scottish friends would say! So, I will go through more pictures and post more maybe tonight even. I am just thinking that by this evening I may be in even more of a fog! Jet lag is not fun! Glad to be home, but am missing my dear friends already!

Hi! I'm in Scotland just now :) We have had a lot of really late night talks, quite a bit of tea and loads of chocolate! We'll go to Perth and Dunkeld, some of my favorite places in Scotland, tomorrow. We hope it doesn't snow. It's been sunny today, but cold- apparently not as cold as in Michigan! Our darling wee Beth is so precious. I'll hopefully post tons of pictures of her when I get back. She's so sweet. She just is cuddly and so amazingly good! And she's doing so well. She's 12 lbs. 8 oz. What a total doll!!!!I am really enjoying just being with the friends that we've made here through the years. There hasn't been much access to internet and we're at some friends' house and I really shouldn't be ignoring them and blogging, but I don't think we'll get another chance anytime soon, so there you are!
